We are

We are of the sleepy variety of students
who sleep like sleepy students do
where sleep is as rampant as truancy
when math classes are like cabbages
which stink of old ladies and old farts -
what in the world are old farts and
how are they doing in my cabbage soup?

they fart and say: we're doing fine, thank you! and
then: we like cabbages because they smell like
them old ladies who do math better
than rampant students. they all play truant so well,
that sleeping is the habit of
the sleepy variety of sleepy cabbages that we sleepily are.
